Diyana Kamarudin ialah pensyarah kanan di Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Beliau menerima PhD dalam Proses Pemisahan dan Penulenan (Kejuruteraan Kimia) dari Universiti Malaya pada September 2022. Sebelum ini, beliau menerima B. Tech dalam Teknologi Alam Sekitar dari Universiti Malaysia Terengganu pada Julai 2012 dan M. Sc dalam Teknologi Kimia dari universiti yang sama di Mei 2016. Projek M.Sc dan PhD beliau memfokuskan pada aplikasi teknologi membran untuk rawatan air. Minat penyelidikannya adalah dalam analisis pengotoran dan biokotoran proses pemisahan membran, yang melibatkan pencirian kotoran dan prestasi proses penapisan. Kerja-kerja beliau melanjutkan dan memahami pendekatan yang berkaitan dengan kemajuan terkini dalam strategi pengubahsuaian dan tindakan mekanistik untuk pengurangan kotoran semasa proses pemisahan, yang akan memberikan pandangan yang lebih baik dan peningkatan mutu untuk aplikasi industri yang berkaitan. Beliau juga menikmati peluang pertumbuhan bersama dalam persekitaran kolaboratif ke arah pengalaman pendidikan yang lebih baik.
Diyana Kamarudin is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the National University of Malaysia. She received her PhD in Separation and Purification Processes (Chemical Engineering) from Universiti Malaya in September 2022. Previously, she received her B. Tech in Environmental Technology from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu in July 2012 and M. Sc in Chemical Technology from the same university in May 2016. Her M.Sc and PhD projects focused on Membrane Technology applications for Water Treatment. Her research interest is in fouling and biofouling analysis of the membrane separation process, which involves foulant characterization and filtration process performances. Her works extend and comprehend the approaches related to recent progress in the modification strategies and mechanistic actions for fouling mitigation during the separation process, which will provide better insights and enhancement for related industrial applications. She also enjoys mutual growth opportunities in a collaborative environment toward a better education experience.
