Dr AKM Moyeenul Huq joined the Faculty of Pharmacy, UKM in 2024. He obtained his B. Pharm. (Hons.) and MS in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Asia Pacific in the year 2007 and 2009 respectively. He is a registered Pharmacist (Grade A) under the Govt. of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh. Later he obtained his PhD from the Center for Drug and Herbal Research, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2018. The field of his PhD research was the Pharmacology of Natural Products. He published his research works in several reputed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He also presented his works orally in different international conferences in Malaysia, Indonesia and UK. His research interests include natural product, pharmacology of natural products, development of herbal medicine and drug discovery. He is also a member of Malaysian Association of Cancer Research (MACR) and Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society (BPS).
