   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Roslinda Mohd Nazar adalah Profesor dan Pengerusi di Jabatan Sains Matematik, Fakulti Sains dan Teknnologi, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Beliau memperoleh Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains (Matematik) daripada University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA dan Ijazah Sarjana Sains (Matematik bagi Model Tak Linear) daripada Heriott-Watt University & University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Seterusnya, beliau telah memperoleh Ijazah Doktor Falsafah (Matematik Gunaan) daripada Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor dalam bidang Aliran Bendalir dan Pemindahan Haba pada Januari 2004. Pada Februari 2005 beliau telah dinaikkan pangkat ke jawatan Pensyarah Kanan dan ke jawatan Profesor Madya pada Ogos 2006. Seterusnya beliau telah dinaikkan pangkat ke jawatan Profesor pada Januari 2012. Minat penyelidikan beliau merangkumi kajian dalam bidang Dinamik Bendalir, Pemindahan Haba dan Pemodelan Matematik. Beliau merupakan Editor bagi beberapa jurnal dalam dan luar negara serta beberapa prosiding. Beliau juga adalah seorang penyelidik yang aktif dalam penerbitan dan penyelidikan dan telah menerbitkan 4 buah buku penyelidikan oleh Penerbit UKM dan lebih daripada 600 hasil kajian dalam bentuk artikel jurnal, prosiding serta bab dalam buku.
