Biografi/ Biography :
Prof. Dr. Noraini Talip pensyarah kanan di Jabatan Sains Biologi dan Bioteknologi, UKM Bangi. dan juga merupakan Ketua Taman Botani Bangi, Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi, UKM Bangi, Selangor. Mempunyai kepakaran dalam bidang anatomi, mikroskopik dan palinologi tumbuhan. Telah menerbitkan lebih daripada 400 bahan penerbitan dalam bentuk manuksrip jurnal, buku, bab dalam buku, abstrak, prosiding, monograf, makalah, laporan dan sebagainya. Pernah memenangi Anugerah Karya Ilmiah 2022, Anugerah Buku Sains dan Teknologi UKM 2015, Anugerah Buku MAPIM 2017, Anugerah Buku Negara 2018, Anugerah Buku Bitara 2019, Anugerah Penyelidikan dan Inovasi Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi 2019 dan Anugerah Buku Ilmiah 2021. Merupakan Ahli Jawatankuasa Herbal Monograph Malaysia atas kepakaran dalam bidang anatomi tumbuhan. Menjalinkan kerjasama penyelidikan bersama pihak MARDI, FRIM, UPM, UNIMAS, UIAM, UM dan sebagainya. Telah melahirkan 17 pelajar PhD, 33 pelajar sarjana sains dan lebih 50 orang pelajar prasiswazah dalam penyelidikan botani khususnya dalam bidang anatomi, mikromorfologi dan palinologi tumbuhan.
Prof. Dr. Noraini Talip is a senior lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, UKM Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia. and also acts as Head of Bangi Botanic Gardens, Faculty of Science and Technology, UKM 43600 Bangi, Selangor. Has expertise in anatomy, microscopy, and plant palynology. Has published more than 300 publications in the form of journal articles, books, book chapters, abstracts, proceedings, monographs, papers, reports and so on. Has won UKM Science and Technology Book Award 2015, MAPIM Book Award 2017, National Book Award 2018, Bitara Book Award 2019, Faculty of Science and Technology Research and Innovation Award 2019 and Scientific Book Award 2021. Member of the Malaysian Herbal Monograph Committee and Malaysian Pharmacopoeia for her expertise in plant anatomy. Conducting research collaborations with MARDI, FRIM, UPM, UNIMAS, UIAM, UM and so on. Has produced 17 PhD students, 33 master of science students and more than 50 undergraduate students in botanical research, especially in the fields of anatomy, micromorphology and plant palynology.
