Biografi/ Biography :
Masnizah Mohd merupakan Profesor Madya di Fakulti Teknologi dan Sains Maklumat (FTSM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Beliau pernah menjalani sabatikal di INVOKE Solutions Sdn Bhd dari Mac - Julai, 2021 di bawah unit Analitik. Sebelum ini, beliau merupakan penyelidik postdoktoral di makmal Pemprosesan Bahasa Tabii, School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) dari Mei 2014 hingga Mac 2016. Beliau menerima PhD dalam bidang Sains Maklumat dan Komputeran dari Universiti of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK (2010);
Sarjana Teknologi Maklumat (2002) dan Sarjana Muda Teknologi Maklumat (1999) dalam bidang Sains Maklumat, UKM. Fokus penyelidikan utama beliau adalah dalam bidang Capaian Maklumat, Pemprosesan Bahasa Tabii, dan Analitik Siber. Beliau juga pernah berkhidmat sebagai sekretariat utama dalam Pertubuhan Bukan Kerajaan (NGO) seperti Persatuan Capaian Maklumat dan Pengurusan Pengetahuan (PECAMP) Malaysia, dan Pertubuhan Akademia Keselamatan Siber Malaysia (CSAM).
---Masnizah Mohd is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FTSM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She did her sabbatical at INVOKE Solutions Sdn Bhd from Mac - July, 2021 where she was assigned under the Analytics department. Previously, she did her postdoc at the Natural Language Processing lab, School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) from May 2014 to March 2016. She received her PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK (2010). She holds M.IT (2002) and B.IT (1999) degrees in Information Science from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her main research interests are in the areas of Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Cyber Intelligence. She also has served as the main secretariat in Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) such as Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management Society (PECAMP) Malaysia and Cyber Security Academia Malaysia (CSAM).
