Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Norinsan Kamil Othman, PhD, is currently a Professor in the Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, The National University of Malaysia (UKM), has his expertise in corrosion science. His study mainly focuses on corrosion, high-temperature high-pressure (HTHP), soldering alloys, welds, and carbon steels. He received the certificate of Professional Technologist from Malaysia Board of Technologists in 2019. He received several awards in research and innovation competitions since 2010. He has published six books and seven book chapters. He also published more than 148 papers which indexed by Scopus and WOS. He is also project leader for 18 research projects and co-researcher for 27 projects which included industry grants. Eight inventions from his project were filed for patents. He is now Head of Joint-Lab of DNV-GL@UKM.
