Biografi/ Biography :
Assoc. Prof Dr. Zaizul Ab. Rahman (DS54) is a senior lecturer at the Research Centre for Theology and Philosophy, Faculty of Islamic Studies, UKM. Started serving at UKM in 2004 and was appointed as a Senior Lecturer (DS51) in 2013 and Assoc. Prof in 2022. Areas of expertise and research focused: is in Psychology of Religion, Islamic Mental Health, Human Development, Islamic Thought and Family in Islam. He holds a Bachelor of Theology and Philosophy UKM (2001), Master of Psychology UKM (2004) and obtained a PhD (Theology and Philosophy) from University Malaya (2012). He furthered his education in post-doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Shaun Gregory, University of Durham (2014), and Dr Muzammil Quraishi, University of Salford (2013), United Kingdom. He is a Registered Counselor (KB06648) and holds Certificate of Practice (PA06139) KB; PA Board of Counselors Malaysia (2012-present). He also recipient of FPI Excellent Lecturer Award (2011-2025) and twice received the UKM Outstanding Service Award (2012 and 2019). He referred as Visiting Professor and invited to share his experiences in the Impact Journal Article Writing Webinar at University of Kudus, UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Malang, Acheh, Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah, Ambon, Airlangga of Indonesia, UIM Maldives, University of Sri Lanka and Princess of Naradhiwas University of Thailand. Until November 2025, Zaizul has produced a total of 615 publications in various categories. He has published 228 journal articles namely 3 WoS (Q1), 71 SCOPUS, 30 WoS (ESCI), 40 ERA and 100 referred journals. He has written 3 original / edited books, 100 ebooks, 11 chapters in books, 64 proceedings and 100 writings in newspapers and magazines. He has registered a total of 2 copyrights. His publications have been cited almost 666 times and he has an author SCOPUS h-index of 17.
