Akmaliza Ali, PhD, is a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UKM. She received her PhD from the University of Queensland in 2018, where she investigated the audiological rehabilitation services for adults with hearing impairment in Malaysia. She is very passionate about studying the patient-centered aspect of the audiological services and the provision of audiological management beyond amplification in adults with hearing impairment. Currently, she is involved in several studies that aim to develop and adapt clinical tools, which will help audiologists provide a comprehensive aural rehabilitation for adults with hearing impairment in Malaysia.
