Norsyahidah Binti Mohd Hidzir is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She has been with UKM since her student years from 2005 for Bachelor of Science (Nuclear Science) and graduated in 2008. Later, she was appointed as tutor in UKM in 2009. She obtained her PhD in 2014 from the University of Queensland, Australia in the field of Radiation Chemistry producing dissertation of Radiation Induced Grafting of Expanded Fluoropolymer Materials. After finished her PhD, she was later appointed as lecturer in UKM from 2014 until now. She teached Nuclear Science Programme for undergraduate level and Radiation and Nuclear Safety, as well as 3S (Safety, Security and Safeguard) for Master level. Apart from teaching, she is also active in research. Her current research interests include radiation chemistry of polymer, effect of radiation on materials, radiosensitiser, biomaterials and material science.
