   Biografi/ Biography :


  • AZNAN FAZLI ISMAIL is an Associate Professor in the Nuclear Science Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He earned his PhD in Nuclear and Quantum Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Dr. Aznan research covers a broad spectrum of areas, from pioneering techniques in Uranium/Thorium extraction to designing high-temperature thorium reactors, addressing radioactive waste management, conducting radiological impact assessments, studying environmental radioactivity, and exploring hydrogen production through photoelectrochemical water separation. In addition to his research, Dr. Aznan also serves as the Program Coordinator for the Master of Science in Radiation and Nuclear Safety and the Master of Science in Nuclear Safety, Security, and Safeguard (3S) programs, showcasing his dedication to both academic and administrative roles.
