Biografi/ Biography :
Mohd Fahmi Ghazali received his PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Science Malaysia. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management, National University of Malaysia. Before joining the National University of Malaysia, he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malaysia Sabah. He has held various important administrative positions, including Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation), Deputy Dean (Student Affairs and Alumni), Coordinator (Master of Public Administration and Leadership), and Head of the International Financial Economics Program, among others. Currently, he is Chairman of the Centre for Global Business and Digital Economy Studies (GloBDE). He researches macroeconomic issues and financial economics, focusing on gold and other safe-haven assets, financial contagion, and quantile regression. Dr Mohd Fahmi has published in numerous reputed journals, inter alia Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Singapore Economic Review, Asia-Pacific Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, Symmetry, Sustainability (Switzerland), MethodsX, Economics Bulletin, Cogent Business & Management, Australasian Accounting, Business and Finance Journal, International Journal of Financial Studies, International Journal of Business and Society, Asian Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Malaysian Studies, UKM Journal of Management, Journal of Islamic Marketing, Studies in Computational Intelligence. He has reviewed over 50 academic papers and is an Editor-in-Chief for the Labuan Bulletin of International Business & Finance.
