Dr Asif Khushaini memiliki ijazah kedoktoran dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) dan juga berkelulusan dari Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) dengan ijazah sarjana muda dan sarjana dalam bidang fizik. Beliau ialah perunding peranti perubatan dengan Sistem Pengurusan Kualiti (QMS) ISO 13485 dan sijil Pengurusan Risiko ISO 14971 untuk peranti perubatan daripada Kumpulan BSI. Beliau juga merupakan wakil penaja dalam ujian klinikal implan gigi nitinol berliang, ujian klinikal implan gigi pra-pasaran pertama di Asia Tenggara. Syarikat permulaannya, Nitium Technology, telah dijemput oleh Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) untuk menyumbang kepada Pelan Hala Tuju Bahan Termaju Nasional 2021–2030 dan dipilih sebagai salah seorang Juara dalam Pelan Induk Perindustrian Baharu 2030 oleh Kementerian Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri (MITI).
Dr. Asif Khushaini holds a doctoral degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and also graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with bachelor`s and master`s degrees in physics. He is a medical device consultant with an ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS) and an ISO 14971 Risk Management certificate for medical devices from the BSI Group. He was also the sponsor`s representative in the porous nitinol dental implant system clinical trial, Southeast Asia`s first pre-market dental implant clinical trial. His start-up company, Nitium Technology, was invited by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) to contribute to the National Advanced Materials Roadmap 2021–2030 and was selected as one of the Champions in the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 by Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).
