Dr. Nor Hafizah Adnan is a senior lecturer at the Centre of STEM Enculturation, Faculty of Education. Her research interests include technology enhanced learning environments, including augmented reality, virtual reality, metaverse, and robotics. She received her Bachelor of Computer Science (Management Information System) and Masters of Computer Science (Software Engineering) both from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya. She obtained PhD in Educational Technology from the College of Education, University of Florida, USA in 2017. Dr. Nor Hafizah is the Principal Investigator for the Malaysia Research University Network (MRUN) project on Fourth Industrial Revolution Cross-Creative Learning Environment for Autism. The grant involved collaboration between MRUN universities (Universiti Malaya), Malaysia Technical University Network (MTUN – Universiti Teknikal Melaka), and Malaysia Comprehensive University Network (MCUN – Universiti Teknologi MARA). She leads the project on the digital learning environment for Autism using robotics. She is also the Principal Investigator for the Top Down Research Grant on Revolutionizing Medical Education: Creating an Immersive Learning Experience with Augmented Reality. Dr. Nor Hafizah is an Apple Professional Learning Provider and Apple Teacher where she is involved in national projects for primary, secondary, and higher education in promoting 1:1 pedagogical and learning approaches using the Apple ecosystem. She is also collaborating with MDEC on the complete pedagogy structure and designing a framework for learning within a metaverse involves integrating the immersive and interactive nature of the metaverse with educational principles.
