Dr. Chuah Hui Wen (Stephanie) is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP), National University of Malaysia. Prior to this, she served as a Senior Lecturer and Associate Director at the Centre for Research and Innovation in Tourism (CRiT) at Taylor’s University. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Asia University, Taiwan, and as a visiting scholar at Hochschule Darmstadt – University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
Dr. Chuah received her Ph.D. in Technology Management and her Master’s in Marketing from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her research interests include artificial intelligence and robotics, social media marketing, big data and machine learning, technology management, and consumer behavior. Dr. Chuah’s work has been published in top-tier journals, including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality Marketing & Management, Internet Research, and Computers in Human Behavior, among others.
Dr. Chuah`s passion and dedication to research have earned her a place on Stanford/Elsevier`s World`s Top 2% Scientists List for both 2023 and 2024. She has also received several prestigious scholarly awards, including the Best Paper Award at the Council for Hospitality Management Education Annual Conference (CHME 2025), the 2022 Best Paper Award from the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, the Young Service Researcher Award, and the Best Paper Award (2017) at the 8th International Research Symposium in Service Management (IRSSM-8).
