   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Dr Mohamad Nurman Yaman merupakan Profesor Madya di Jabatan Pendidikan Perubatan di Fakulti Perubatan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Beliau memperoleh ijazah perubatan pada tahun 2003 dari University of Sheffield, United Kingdom dan memperoleh ijazah Sarjana dan PhD dalam Pendidikan Perubatan dari UKM pada tahun 2011 dan 2019. Beliau terlibat secara aktif dalam pendidikan perubatan prasiswazah dan pascasiswazah di Fakulti Perubatan. Minat akademik dan penyelidikan utama beliau adalah dalam bidang Pendidikan Perubatan dengan tumpuan khusus dalam Akreditasi, Pembangunan dan Semakan Kurikulum, Jaminan Kualiti dan Pemilihan Pelajar. Beliau giat menyediakan perundingan mengenai kurikulum perubatan dan sains kesihatan serta jaminan kualiti kepada institusi pengajian tinggi di Malaysia dan luar negara. Pada masa ini beliau adalah ahli aktif Malaysian Association of Education in Medical and Health Sciences (MAEMHS) dan Pertubuhan Amal Perubatan Ibnu Sina Malaysia (PAPISMA) dan menyumbang dalam masyarakat media sosial perubatan melalui Medical Tweet Malaysia (MedTweetMY).
    Dr. Mohamad Nurman Yaman holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor within the Department of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, The National University of Malaysia (UKM). His journey in the medical field began with the attainment of his primary medical degree from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 2003. Assoc Prof Dr. Mohamad Nurman Yaman`s dedication to advancing his expertise led him to pursue higher education, culminating in the completion of both his Master`s and PhD in Medical Education at UKM in 2011 and 2019, respectively. Within the academic realm, Assoc Prof Dr. Mohamad Nurman Yaman actively engages in shaping the future of medical education, contributing significantly to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Medicine UKM. His scholarly pursuits primarily revolve around Medical Education, with specialized interests spanning Accreditation, Curriculum Development and Review, Quality Assurance, and Student Selection. Beyond the confines of academia, Assoc Prof Dr. Mohamad Nurman Yaman serves as a pivotal consultant, extending his expertise to various institutions within Malaysia and internationally. He plays a crucial role in refining medical and health science curricula while ensuring rigorous quality assurance standards are met. As a testament to his commitment to the field, Assoc Prof Dr. Mohamad Nurman Yaman holds esteemed memberships in professional organizations such as the Malaysian Association of Education in Medical and Health Sciences (MAEMHS) and the Ibnu Sina Medical Charity Organization of Malaysia (PAPISMA). Moreover, Assoc Prof Dr. Mohamad Nurman Yaman actively contributes to the dissemination of medical knowledge and discourse through digital platforms like Medical Tweet Malaysia (MedTweetMY), thereby enriching the medical social media landscape.
