   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Dr. Hasnah is a senior researcher at the Centre of Healthy Ageing and Wellness, Faculty of Health Sciences, The National University of Malaysia (UKM). Her specialization includes Food analysis, Soy and health, Stable isotope usage in bone health, Food Product Development and Food Safety. She has obtained a fellowship from the International Atomic Energy Agency for calcium absorption studies using stable isotopes at Cornell University, USA. She also received the UKM Young Researcher Fellowship for attachment at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Centre Research, Seattle, USA. She is the Malaysia representative for the Asia Pacific Food Analysis Network, a member of the technical working group of the Malaysia Food Composition Database (2011-present), Recommended Nutrient Intake (2015 – 2019) and Malaysia Dietary Guidelines (2019-present). She is also a life member of the Nutrition Society of Malaysia and an ordinary member of the Malaysia Food Institute and Technology. Expertise: Food Composition Analysis, Soy and Health and Food Product Development.
