  •    Biografi/ Biography :


  • Dr Mohd Nasri is a former Head of Department and a senior lecturer at the Medical Education Department, the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He worked with the Ministry of Health from 2000 to 2008 before joining UKM and completing Master in Medical Education in 2011 and PhD in 2017. His PhD topic focused on feedback in Workplace-Based Assessment (WPBA). During his PhD, he presented his work on feedback focusing on intention, interpretation, misinterpretation and its solution in various European countries such as Germany, Spain, Italy and United Kingdom. After completing his PhD in 2017, in addition to feedback, his interest expanded to include assessment and curriculum. He is actively involved in assessment workshops at both local and international levels for academic staff development to improve the validity and reliability of the assessment. He has conducted numerous workshops on assessment and curriculum for educators. He is leading the online Smart Question Bank (SQB) and e-assessment team. His interest is not limited to assessment but curriculum development, monitoring and review. He has been appointed as an Undergraduate Education committee member at the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) since 2018 and has been appointed as co-chairperson from 2023 to 2026. He was appointed as Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panel of accreditation in 2020 and is involved in training medical lecturers as future MQA panel for medical programs. Currently, he is a Visiting Lecturer at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), an External Curricular Reviewer at Perdana University and External Advisor at UniSHAMS.
