   Biografi/ Biography :


  • Norzalita Aziz continues her career at UKM after six years of corporate experience in marketing and corporate communication in a multifaceted conglomerate. Now, she serves as a Professor of Marketing and RHB-UKM Endowment chair manager at the UKM Graduate School of Business. She was appointed as a visiting professor in the Marketing Department at Sultan Qaboos University and a visiting consultant in the Department of Sustainable Tourism & Regional Development at the German University of Technology in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Before that, Dr Norzalita holds several administrative posts as a Director of Corporate Communication and Marketing at the university level and as well as an associate fellow member for the Entrepreneurship & SMEs Development Centre (CESMED) and The Institute for Sustainable Environment & Development (LESTARI). She also served as a Head of MBA Programs and Head of Industry & Community Partnerships Affairs at UKM GSB. Thus, she has worked closely with institutions such as Newcastle University, Insead Business School, and the Sri Lankan and Nigerian governments. Her teaching and corporate experience have shaped and been shaped by her research interests. Thus, her scholarly interests range widely from Services Marketing, especially in tourism and hospitality services, sustainable marketing, e-marketing/digital marketing, consumer behaviour and entrepreneurship. She enhanced her research by collaborating with several universities, such as Universitas Malang, Universitas Palangkaraya, Guandong University of Finance & Economics, Guandong Ocean University, Taif University, Ibaraki University, UUM, UTM, Taylor`s University, UMT. Her research publication has appeared in several indexed journals, and she has received the Emerald Literati Awards.
